DO12 - Highlight path in folder tree

In Beta 12 I have set the option to highlight path to selected folder in the folder tree and also to use colour from tab.

Unfortunately the color does not seem to work unless there is some automated tab colour. It would be good it the path could pick up a custom colour that is set up for a tab.

ALSO
If I select a colour for a tab, it always seems to come out in some dense muddy version - eg I set up a tab as bright red, it is a murky brown unless the tab is selected. Is there a way I can turn off (or reduce) the amount of the darkening please?

Tabs are darkened when not selected so you can tell which tab is selected. I'm not sure it would work very well if they weren't, unless something else was done to make the active tab conspicuous. (Open to suggestions. Maybe the tab colour should just be a line at the top/bottom of the tab instead of filling the whole thing?)

That's a good idea. I think, someone has suggested this already. Windows 10 has something similar, having the tasks in the task bar underlined, which looks good in my opinion. For Opus tabs, though, i would prefer to have the colored line at the top.

Yes, I can see the reason for darkening the colours but it is a bit irritating that the colour palette I designed can only be shown one at a time rather than the balanced scheme I intended. Would be good if, perhaps, I could control the degree of darkening, or alternatively my designed palette was on display with just the active tab lightened as opposed to the others darkened.

I like the coloured line idea but whilst it would work with horizontal tabs, I think it might be less successful with vertically stacked tabs.
