Don’t expand folder tree

I have the options set for not expanding the left folder tree side/pane yet if I choose a folder in one of the 2 explorer panes the tree left panes expands to it. I don’t want any expansion of the leftmost pane.

btw this explorer clone/replacement/contender is unbelievable, amazing. I’ve tried no end of replacements and there’s always something missing but this seems to have it all (except for my issue above). What you’ve managed is awesome.

Under Preferences / Folder Tree / Options, make sure both of these are switched off:

  • Automatically expand to current folder
  • Expand selected branch

thank you for confirming. Yes, that was how I had it. Still, I rebooted since then and it's now working as it should.

btw I used the move feature and it highlights the files that were moved. So neat.
