I was so happy to see Dopus 10 added an "Extra Line Spacing" option; this was a nitpick I had with version 9.5, as I prefer the extra spacing in the Windows 7 explorer view. However, to my chagrin I can't change the spacing for my favored mode: List.
Why doesn't List mode get any options love? Even under v9.5, i wondered why there options for every mode except List. If there's a way I can increase the line spacing for List, lemme know!
Anyone? This is the only quirk that's holding me back from loving DO 10. Just don't understand why the others views are so configurable, but you can't change spacing in List.
Is there a reason why? Is there a place to request this? Seems odd that no view had the option for multiple spacing in 9.5, and it was requested, only to be added to detail and power but not list.
Which is a real pity. Most of the time I don't need any more information about the files I'm dealing with than just the name, and using list mode I can see much more files at the same time than in the other modes. Why should I waste time using one of them? In my opinion, list mode is at least as important as the other modes.
Understood, but I just find the view dense and unreadable compared to the standard Windows 7 layout. This was a 9.5 request by someone, and obviously the developers agreed it was important enough to include in Power and Details mode. It's not spoiling the whole party - I still use DO - I just had a question about the partial inclusion.
Sorry for my late answer; for some reason at the moment I don't get notified when there are replies although that option is enabled (the e-mail address is correct, too).
Yes, it is available, and to be honest: I don't care for the "extra line spacing for list view" in any way. It was just a reply to Leo's statement "List mode isn't a priority" - that's why I quoted it. On quite some occasions I read "oh, you're using list mode? Well, that doesn't work. Use power or detail mode instead". That's why I made my remark.
Don't get me wrong - at the moment I don't have any complaints. It's just that list mode is sometimes treated like a poor cousin.
