I tried Windows 11 24H2, and after rebooting after installing DOpus, DOpus caused Windows 11 24H2 Explorer-related components to crash, even without DOpus running, mainly causing programs launched from the taskbar to crash, even including the settings panel.
Even if I disable all options on startup in preferences it doesn't help. This is very strange, so even if it's an unstable Windows version I thought it should be reported. (I spent two hours checking more than a dozen installed software, which really surprised me.)
I uninstalled a lot of software and rebooted multiple times, Explorer always crashed, but once I uninstalled DOpus, everything worked fine, and later I also had doubts, and installed and uninstalled DOpus again, which confirmed the result.
(It could also be that Explorer made some changes?)
We don't support those, and the purpose of installing them is so you can tell Microsoft if there is instability or other problems so they can fix things before general release. The crashes should be reported to Microsoft.
(Unless you have one of the new ARM laptops, which are essentially given pre-release versions of Windows because Microsoft weren't ready for the hardware launch.)
I just report it in advance to prevent Microsoft from making changes in subsequent official versions.
(I can use DOpus as a portable version, so there is no problem for the time being.)
