Sometimes, more often than not, if I double click on a file or app to open it, the file/app opens but it closes DOPUS. This just started happening a week or so ago. I think I updated DOPUS around that time but I'm not sure. has anyone else experienced this or is it something on my laptop?
Does it only happen with particular file types (or ones which open in a particular application)?
Is the viewer pane open and loading the clicked file when it happens?
Have any crash logs been created? (Automatic crash logs (for bug reports))
Hi Leo. Thanks for responding. It does not create a crash log. The viewer pane is not open. It doesn't happen all the time. I've been trying to make it happen since I received your response and of course it has not happened. I've clicked on every type of file I can find. Works perfect. Now that I have this communication open with you, I'll let you know when it happens again and I'll be paying close attention to what I'm clicking on. Thanks!

Found these in the Windows Event Viewer. Don't know if it will help.
I traced it back to see when it started. The first crash occurred on 5/13/26. (unless the logs don't go back any further?)
opushutil.exe seems to be part of Microsoft Office, it isn't anything to do with our Opus in any event.
If Opus is mysteriously disappearing I would look at your anti-virus/anti-spyware tools. Check their logs (if they have them), try whitelisting Opus in them or just disabling them temporarily to see if it helps.
