DOpus crashing on file drops, folder openings

I hope it's the right place to ask, so here it is:
Lately I'm haunted by a DO bug, which occurs mostly while file drops (eg. desktop->DO) and sometimes when opening a folder inside DO.
I couldn't find a pattern in the occurences. Sometimes DO just crashes, sometimes it's catched by a warning message, here:

Strange thing is, the file operation (move) that ran sometimes completes before the crash.

And yes, I'm using the latest version, 9.1

There is a FAQ on diagnosing crashes when viewing certain directories.

The problem is, as I've wrote, that there is no pattern, nor explicit files/folders that would always crash DO. It comes up occassionally. Is there a way to turn on some crash-logging?

If Opus crashes it will normally save a crash dump to %TEMP%\DOpus.Minidumps. If you attach the most recent one here we can take a look.

Here are the 6 newest minidumps.
DOpus.Minidumps.zip (149 KB)

Okay, DO began to crash/freeze on all file drops now (originating from the desktop)... any solutions?

You can see the desktop from within DOpus, however because there is the option to do just that. So in a way it's not necessary to drag files from the desktop to DOpus. Nevertheless this sounds like GPSoftware will have to issue a bug fix update to DOpus.

...assuming the bug is in Opus and not due to interaction with a 3rd party component. I'd say the latter seems likely as many of us drag files from the Desktop to Opus windows many times a day without problems, and this is AFAIK the only report of a crash.

Let's wait until GPSoftware come back with some analysis of the crash dumps poisonborz collected before we start assigning blame and bug fixes.
