DOpus keeps hanging

Hi
Since today, DOpus hangs almost every second time, I start it. I use the latest version on a Windows 8 machine.
WIndows gives me this information:
The program dopus.exe version 4.0.3.30 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Action Center control panel.

Version 4.0.3.30 sound pretty old. Are you sure, you have the right version number?

Ok, sorry, obviously there is another program version for the exes. Did you try the FAQ on high CPU & crashing?

There is probably a file in the directory that Opus is showing when it starts which is triggering a crash, most likely in a shell extension from something else that is being loaded into Opus.
