Hi, I have bought version 12 but my copy of Dopus keeps returning to version 10. I have tried everything I can think of, including removing version 10 and doing a clean install of version 12 but it still goes back to 10. Help please.
Have you successfully installed and seen Opus 12 on the machine?
If not then you may just be running an old installer. Download links for the current installers can be found at the top of the forum.
It’s also possible that antivirus is blocking the Opus 12 installer from updating anything.
Otherwise, if you’re installed Opus 12 and seen it running, but it then turns into Opus 10 after a reboot, then there must be something on your system that is restoring old backups in some way, as it’s not possible for one version to automatically install an older version over the top of itself.

Thank you for your reply. I have just downloaded one of those installers and installed v12.26. It all seemed to be accepted and, indeed, Windows 10 Apps shows that it is installed. However, when I try to open it, it opens v10. Very frustrating.
Does Opus 10 still open even after you've uninstalled Opus entirely?
After uninstalling, try rebooting and deleting C:\Program Files\GPSoftware (assuming the standard install folder).
