I dunno why, but recently...when i click on directory opus or open a drive eg. c: , the icon flashed briefly on the bottom right screen and it disappears. Nothing happen after that....now i do not even know how to browse my computer, since directory opus is set as default...its a great program, but if this happens, something should be done..any help to solve this is greatly appreciated

There is some info in this thread which may help track down the problem:
Temporary work around until the greater issue is fixed. Go to your desktop and right click the "My Computer" icon, Explore from there. This will give you the native MS File Explorer.
