Hi
when i double click a jpg image file in opus and i have set default operation to use windows "fotos" app the small handles to click next and previous image in a folder is mossing. If i do the same in microsoft native file explorer they are there and "fotos" app works like supposed.
I have not ser opus image file handler to opus internal, so i expected the "fotos" app to work identical, but dont
any ides or this is a bug in opus ?

Make sure you're on the latest version, there were some changes a little while ago to make this work.
im on Directory Opus 13.18 Build 9368 x64
OS 10.0 (B:26100 P:2 T:1) SP 0.0
if this is the version you think about it still doesnt work. Is there a newer ?

The recent changes were to make it work again on Windows 11 after Microsoft broke the original method we used. As far as I know that still works.
This is the first time I've heard it doesn't work on Windows 10, but no doubt Microsoft have broken that as well. I'm not sure we'll be able to do anything about that - Windows 10 is almost out of support by Microsoft, so spending time on it probably wouldn't be productive (and no doubt whatever we did Microsoft would only go and break it again anyway).

any settings to change in the app ? I uploaded the settings i have in Opus
i have updated both windows and opus as i wrote to latest version. Same problem on both a laptop and a stationary both updated. Thats no help

I tested the following versions:
Photos 2025.11040.23001.0 | Windows 11 24H2 build 26100.4652 (AMD64)

You can also still launch the Photos app from File Explorer using Open with...
it workd using native file explorer but i want it to work woth opus.

this does not help and yes its a serious question. I use opus i dont code
i tried this but does not solve the problem. I want to be able to double click a jpg file and use windows native "Foto" app teh same way it works in Windows Explorer.
So i dont know how to progress here, i have confirmed i use latest versino and everything is updated and still it does not work
How to get a solution to this ?

We'll have a fix (again) for this in the next beta. But Microsoft seem to like breaking this functionality on a regular basis so I wouldn't be surprised if it's again only a temporary fix.
