I have a application that requires a double click on the desktop in order to run. Is there another way to launch Opus?
Yes, several.
Have a look under Preferences / Launching Opus for the main methods you can configure.
You can also launch Opus via custom hotkeys or command-lines if you want to do something more esoteric.
A pinned shortcut on the taskbar or start menu also works, as with most programs.
