I have just bought a new computer and just installed Directory Opus on it.
I am running into a weird issue. In the beginning after the system booted the double click on desktop works perfectly as it should. But shortly after that nothing happens anymore when double clicking on the desktop.
What could cause this? How can I fix it ?

Which version of Opus?
Do you have anything installed that modifies the desktop window or has its own double click handler? For example, Fences and Display Fusion are popular and can get involved.
Make sure Opus hasn’t been launched elevated as well. (See the FAQs for more retail. It’s in the menu at the top of this page.)
Used the latest installer from the Website. I think it is: 12.27.0.0
No I have not installed any apps that affect the desktop window
It is not launched elevated.
Is DOpusRT.exe listed in Task Manager’s processes tab?
