Downloaded PDF File Name Font Color is Yellow

What could cause downloaded files, in this case PDFs, to appear with font color yellow?

Font color does not change when moving the files to another folder, nor does the color of other files (including PDFs) change to yellow when moving them to the download folder.

Looks like this could be related to Folder Formats that did not make the transition from 12 to 13.

Is there a yellow label under Preferences / Labels / Label Definitions?

Anything applying it to things under Preferences / Labels / Label Assignments, or In Specific Folders below that?

There's a yellow label definition that is uncategorized.

Here's also a yellow label assignment for file size >10 MB. That's the culprit.

Should this override folder formats and associated labels? Which takes precedence?

That explains it.

If it's in Label Definitions then it'll apply in all folders.

If it's in In Specific Folders then it'll only apply in those folders (or sub-folders, if that's turned on). Anything there should have come from rules defined in Folder Formats in your old Opus 12 config. Let us know if what you have there now doesn't make sense vs what it was in 12, as that might mean there's an issue with the conversion process.

I had a label definition and assignment set up for specific file types (executables) that would make the name underlined orange, regardless of file location. It's no longer there. I recreated it and am back in business.

If you have your Opus 12 config backup, could you send it via private message or email?

If you want to limit it to just the important info (in case of anything private in the config), we probably only need two files:

  • Take the .ocb backup and rename it .zip, then double-click it.
  • Within the zip, go into the ConfigFiles subdir.
  • There should be filecolors.oxc and foldercolors.oxc, which are the important files.

Thanks!
