Hi! I tried drag&drop files from a DOpus lister (Windows 7 x64 SP1) to a Windows Explorer directory (where of course I have the rights) on Windows Server 2012 opened in a Remote Desktop connection (Remote Desktop Shell version 6.2): It does not work. Interestingly, copy&paste DOES work.
Does anybody know how to make drag&drop work in this situation?
I don't think it works from Explorer to Explorer either, at least not with normal Remote Desktop.
If it's a special feature of Remote Desktop Shell, they might be assuming something about the data within the drag & drop objects which isn't true for all programs, and it may be worth reporting to them so they can make their drop handlers compatible with more cases. (If they can tell us what we're doing differently to Explorer, we can make our side more compatible as well, but we could only really guess what the difference is that's tripping them up. Of course, this is all assuming that Explorer to Explorer drops work in the first place.)
I should have tried earlier: It does not work from Windows Explorer on the Windows 7 client computer either. I will investigate other custom Remote Desktop solutions and report the outcomes here.
