Been using DO for years and never had this problem (just had to reinstall on new computer)
Dual vertical layout.
Drives do not show up in the folder trees of either panel. Tried for a coupla hrs and cannot find a way to make them show.
Help much appreciated.

You may have changed Preferences / Folder Tree / Contents / Start Folder Tree At... to Current Drive.
If so, change it to any of the other options to get the Drives or This PC branch back in the folder tree. Desktop is the default setting there and what most people should use.
Thxn for your reply. Don't think that's the problem as I noticed they were missing just after reinstalling... hadn't make customizations yet.
Worth checking either way.
Could you post a screenshot of what the folder tree does display?
