Newbie here. I seem to have replaced the icons in the 'drive' toolbar with some other icons. I did not mean to do this. I tried to undo the change via various 'reset' options, including 'factory reset toolbars'. None of that worked - my 'drives' toolbar still showed only the new buttons. Deleting the Drives toolbar and then doing 'factory reset toolbars' did not restore the Drives toolbar, i.e. did not allow that toolbar to be used. That looks like a bug to me. How can I restores the Drives toolbar, please?
A related question: somehow it was by trying to add back, forward and up buttons that I got into this mess; is there no straightforward way in which one can add those buttons?
It's not a bug. The Drives toolbar isn't one of the built-in toolbars that you can factory reset. It's just a normal toolbar, and only really exists as a simple example which can be deleted if it isn't wanted (unlike the built-in toolbars which can be turned off but cannot be deleted to clean up the toolbar list).
You can find the original copy under C:\ProgramData\GPSoftware\Directory Opus\Buttons (put there by the installer) and copy it to your user config if you want to restore it.
The most straightforward way is to use the buttons that already exist on the default toolbars.
You can also copy or move them from the defaults if you want them somewhere else, which can be done via drag & drop, either from the toolbars themselves (if you haven't deleted those buttons for some reason) or from the Default Toolbars tab in the Customize window. They're also in the Commands tab.

I do not see 'back', 'forward' and 'up' buttons in the default toolbars. Perhaps I customized those toolbars at some point. Yet, as I said - and I asked whether this is a bug - using various 'reset' options did not restore (for one thing?) the Drives toolbar.
In general, please ask only one question per thread,
Thanks. I had overlooked those buttons because, at least on my screen and to my eyes, they were teeny-tiny - and not where I expected them to be!
I have not marked your most recent point as 'the solution' because - because, er, one of the main points of the thread was that the option(s) to restore default toolbars seems not to do so.
I already explained that. The Drives toolbar isn't technically one of the default toolbars (the ones built into the program that cannot be deleted). It's just an example toolbar put on disk by the installer which is no different to a user-made toolbar as far as the program is concerned.
Use Settings > Backup & Restore if you want to make a config backup, or duplicate your non-default toolbars before messing with them, if you're worried about losing things and having to ask on the forum for how to get them back.
Because then you could not delete it, which would leave a lot of clutter for people who don't want a Drives toolbar or three toolbars for different Office suites.
And not everyone wants to reset dopus or make a backup restore (friendly reminder: not everyone makes a backup) just to restore a simple drive toolbar, which dopus users seems to use a lot.
