The point of a dropdown button is you can have both a menu (accessed via the arrow glyph) and a button. A dropdown button without the arrow would just be a normal menu, which you can have already.
For Button-Menus, this option exists while in Customize mode, to hide the drop-arrow and make it so the menu part opens when you either right-click the main button or do a long left-click.
It's used on a few buttons in the default File Display Toolbar.
That's not as intuitive - little bit awkward to keep mouse button pressed.
Not sure is it possible to have the floating menu "capture" the mouse pointer after the cursor has been on top of the menu for 0.01 second. Then there would be automatic opening for menu when cursor hovers on top of some menu.
Once one menu is open, others will open as you hover over them. But you have to click at least once to get things going, the same with standard menu controls.
Actually the right button works better than the left one, right one it's instant, left has small delay opening the menu. Thank you for the tips, I'll test to implement the right mouse button to the workflow.
Dopus is an excellent product for daily use, thank you for keeping it updated.
