When using a drop-down menu, I am faced
with dozens of choices, most of which I will never use. Is there a way to edit a drop down menu so that I can delete the items that I will never use. Thank you.
Which menu do you mean?
Almost every menu. For an example When I right click on a file, I see about 24 options. I would probably only keep six or seven of the options. I would never use the rest. Thanks.
For file/folder context menus, see the pinned post at the top of the Tutorials area:
Thank you for your help but I am totall lost. I can find the content menu flolder but have become lost when looking at the contents of the directory. An example is, How do I remove the "Openin New Folder Tab?? I know I will never use it and it just adds confusion to mychoices. Thank you
You can not remove standard Windows items in the context menu (except by tweaking the registry), but I think it is explained in the postlinked by Leo how to replace it by one you define in Opus (that can also have the standard windows as a submenu, which is what I use)
Settings > File Types > All Folders > Context Menu.
