This is an odd thing to say when I'm looking at .eml files (email).
There is no 'sender'. It's a file that exists on my computer.
I can't find how to disable this in the plugins options.
The .eml viewer is part of Windows, not part of Opus. You should see the same in File Explorer's viewer pane.
And there is always a sender of an email; the person that sent it to you originally (unless it's one that you wrote yourself and saved but never sent). Image links in emails will connect to an external webserver and can be used to know that you've read the email or learn your IP address, which is why Microsoft made the .eml viewer do that.
