Empty Tabs and Network Drives

I frequently use a VPN. When I use the VPN the network drives I have available change.

Unfortunately, DOpus turns all my unavailable network drives into the infamous "Empty Tab"

Is there any setting I can change to force DOpus to remember what drive was associated with the tab, even if it can't connect to it?

I am fine with the "Unavailable Content" (or whatever the error message is). I just don't want to have it forget all my open tab locations (because in an hour or so, I'll be using them again).

And Saved Layouts don't help as the tab layout changes as I do work.

If you turn on the option to prevent automatic loading of network drive tabs until they’re clicked on, it might solve things. (Not sure off the top of my head.)

You’ll likely run into performance issues if you try to access servers that are unreachable, so it’s best avoided in general. Windows itself will block threads on any access to them for up to 30 seconds.

Having separate Folder Tab Groups or Layouts for when on the VPN is what I would do.
