This is strange. I searched the forum but couldn't find anything. I don't think DOpus would have such a simple bug, so something must be wrong on my system, but I don't know what.
The problem: Pressing Enter once opens files twice...
In detail: Normally I select files by hovering the mouse over the filename and open with a single click. When I hover on a file to select it and press Enter on the keyboard, it opens any file two times.
Does this happen with all types of files or just one type? If just one type, which program is opening twice?
Anything installed which may interfere with one program launching another? (Try uninstalling Zone Alarm if it's installed (since just "disabling" ZA rarely fixes the problems it causes), or temporarily disabling anti-virus, etc. in case they're triggering a problem.)
The problem happens with all file types that I've tried and I don't use zonealarm.
I have used TweakUI Powertoy to change the time for mouse hover, but I don't think it's the culprit, since Windows Explorer doesn't show the same problem.
If the single-click/point-to-select option is on and you're using List, Icons or Thumbnails mode then it happens. Details and Power modes are unaffected by the bug, even with the option turned on.
Thank you very much. I was almost sure that there was something wrong with my system. I guess not many people use the single click to open mode, or the bug would have been discovered long ago.
