Error in helpfile on update

Nothing special, the helpfile does not show changes since 12.1.1 on 1st run after an update (German Version).

It says "can't access //ieframe.dll/dnserrordiagoff.htm#".

Are your Internet Explorer security/privacy/trust settings at the normal levels or have they been customised? Any irewalll software which might be involved?

The Opus 12 releaae notes use a YouTube video (to show how Rename works) which might be tripping some security feature. Aside from that, I don't think the manual should be using DNS at all as it is all local content.

Is anyone else reading also seeing this?

Nothing has been customized or changed, also I'm not using Edge/IE. It was always shown correctly before v12.1.1 (and v11) and occurs on all devices (they're all on Win 10 Anniversary incl. latest updates).

Not exactly this one, but I also had some error messages like "A script could not be executed properly" (or something similar to) when I used the help for the first time after installing the final DO 12 release build.

However I couldn't see any problems and meanwhile the error messages are not appearing any longer, so I just ignored this.

Yes, it only appears on 1st start after update and reset.

Does it also appear if you open the help file normally from Opus? (F1 usually.)

Nope.

If you set Preferences / Launching Opus / Startup / Run a command to run Help RELEASENOTES, save the change, then reboot, does the help file open OK then, or is there an error message?

Displaying the change log should be the same as displaying the help file, so I wonder if the error only happens if the help file opens before your system has finished booting and connecting to the network or something like that.

Did it, but nothing opens on restart.

For whatever it's worth, the first time I opened a lister after installing 12.2 (and immediately rebooting), the help section of 12.2 release history automatically opened.

Yesterday I recovered one of my OS's, which included v12.1.1 and didn't show changelog for the first time, then updated again to v12.2 and now changelog was shown.

But as said, it did happen on all my installations, so it was not an issue of the recovered sys.
