Error on MOVE Files from Camera

I've just purchased a FujiFilm HS30EXR camera and have been trying to use dOpus to move files from the camera to my computer. I select all the new pics and then click the MOVE button with the target folder in the other pane. dOpus gives me an error dialog for each file it tries to move that reads:

Dialog Title: Copy File - Directory Opus
Dialog Text and Option Buttons:
An error occurred moving 'DSCF0023.JPG':
The system cannot find the specified file. (2)
Retry | Skip | Skip All | Abort

Not sure why the dialog says "Copy File" instead of "Move File" but I can assure you I clicked MOVE.

If I just go ahead and click "Skip All" then the copy operation completes and all files end up in the destination, but no files are deleted off the camera. I can go back to that pane and delete the files manually, but I think a MOVE should have taken care of that for me. If I do the exact same thing, only click COPY instead, the operation proceeds without error. But of course, I still have to go back to the source and delete the files manually.

I am running dOpus 10 Pro Edition Version 10.2.0.0 (4645) x64
System is Windows 7 Professional SP1 x64

Thanks.

What happens if you drag & drop the files instead of using the button?

Also, see what happens in Windows Explorer.

BTW, I find if you plug a camera in directly it often provides the files via a virtual folder which doesn't behave entirely normally, but if you take the memory card out and put it in a card reader then you get a real drive/directory which is fully functional,

And, what's more, regardless of the software you use to transfer pictures from camera to PC, the general advice is that it is better to do so with a USB card reader than with the camera connected to the PC.

The only reason for connecting PC and camera is if you use the camera maker's software that can then let you control the camera from the PC. For example, this is one way of ensuring that the camera has the correct time.

If you are not using the camera software, and you only want to move images, then a camera to PC link is pointless and can lead to the sort of problem that Leo mentioned.

I'll just do it another way then. Just thought you would like to know of an error thrown by Directory Opus.

Using a card reader is an option for me, but it does expose the SD card to more exposure than just connecting the camera, and whether reader or camera, the time to connect is about the same. Longer with the reader actually since I have to get the card out of the camera, into the reader, and the reader connected to the PC. Copy followed by delete works with the camera connected, so there's that, too. It's only the Move that fails.
