Error when copying file between TeamViewer and Host

Setup:

  • Two computers both running DOpus
    • one running in a VM on a PC (later called 'Primary')
    • the other is a separate Laptop controlled via TeamViewer (from the VM).

The issue:
When Ctrl + C a file in TeamViewer DOpus,
and Ctrl + V in Primary DOpus you get an error saying:

"An error occurred copying '<file.txt>':
The specified path is invalid. (161)

Workaround
It is possible to copy the file when using Windows explorer on one of the computers.
I.e. both of these will copy the file correctly

  • Copy from TeamViewer explorer and pasting in host DOpus.
  • Copy from TeamViewer DOpus and pasting in host explorer.

Misc other info

Copying DOpus to DOpus between the VM (Hyper-V / RDP) and the physical machine it is running on works fine.

I can work around this bug by using explorer for it, so it is not critical, and probably not a very normal use case. But it is a bit annoying.
