Standard Everything search in DOpus does not work in a symlinked folder, for example, if you have moved your Downloads directory to D: to save space on C:. Other searches, including global Everything, work fine. If you navigate Downloads on D: with DOpus through a symlink, it will think it is on C:, which is expected behaviour. However, any search sent to Everything while in D: Downloads will try to look in C: Downloads and therefore return no matches - as this folder does not truly exist.
This has been reported before. However, I don't think it's an issue with Everything, since Everything by its nature is a global search, and its handling of parsepoints was improved since then. I think it's just what DOpus is sending to Everything has the incorrect path.
I'm not sure this is a bug, as such, since the behaviour of DOpus regarding symlinks is both expected and necessary. But worth reporting anyway - it took me hours to figure out what was going wrong with my searches. Is it possible to add a workaround for this to Everything search or would it open a can of worms?
