Exclude folder from Synchronisation doesn't

I use digikam to manage my photos and it stores deleted images in folders under .dtrash. I don't want these files to be copied to my other computers, so I added the folder to the exclusion list.
Directory Opus still marked the contents of .dtrash\files to be copied.
I then added the subdirectories to the excluded folders list, but that made no difference, Sync still tells me that the files will be copied.
What, if anything, am I doing wrong?

Try adding \* to the ends like the two default exclusions have.

If you’re not on the latest version, also try updating, as the way this works was improved in one of the updates a while ago.

I don't see an option to modify the folder string. I clicked on the icon to exclude .dtrash and what you see is what Directory Opus generated.

Can you confirm what version you're using?

For me this seems to work with Directory Opus 13.17 Build 9335 x64 on Windows 11.
