I frequently find myself searching (including subfolders) in directories which are Subversion (SVN) working copies. Each of these has a hidden .svn\ subdirectory in it.
I want to be able to do Simple (not Advanced) searches that exclude any .svn subdirs. I know how to set this in an Advanced search, but I want to use the Simple search tab most of the time, due to its simplicity.
I was trying to do it with filters, but it not works (just works for files, not for paths). Personally I think that advanced search is as simple as normal search but even if not - that is why it's advanced search - for advanced search parameters.
But adding "path names" in folder formats will be useful I think and can be used as search display filter.
You can do it from the Simple tab if you tell Opus to search all the other folders and leave out the .svn one. That can be done by dragging the folders into the Find In list.
Otherwise, you will need to use the Advanced tab to exclude sub-folders from the search.
