EXPANDBRANCH toggle button

Is it possible to have a button to toggle this new behavior EXPANDBRANCH ?

I think this is a very nice feature but it confuses me a bit...

I have created a button with script:

Set EXPANDABLEFOLDERS=Toggle

The description

  • Set EXPANDABLEFOLDERS – Toggle the ability to expand folders. (Hiding the expanders saves a small amount of horizontal space.)

Describes exactly what I want to achieve...
I use version 3.0.36 beta and does nothing.

My previous attempt was to create a button with the script:

Go EXPANDBRANCH

This was correctly enabling selected folder's expansion but there is no way to disable it after...
