Explorer.exe crash

I have "Replace Explorer for all file system folders ('recommended)" checked.

When I have DO open showing the desktop (My Computer -> up 1 level), rightclicking in the pane causes explorer.exe to crash.

What version / OS ?

Hi jon,

version 9.1.3.0 x86 on Windows XP SP3.

Also, I still have the always returning DO starting in a small window at system startup, allthough I always use it in maximized state.

If right-clicking the desktop in Opus causes Explorer to crash it's likely to be caused by a shell extension that adds itself to the desktop context menu.

Try using ShellExView to disable non-Microsoft context menu extensions and see if that stops it happening, then narrow it down to which one is causing it.
