Explorer & Images tab - different sorting possible?

When I click on the images-tab, I want the images sorted basis: modified, reversed
Explorer tab 'normal' (=Name) sorted.

Vainly tried to accomplish this (maybe it isn't possible?)

Clicked on the rightclicked Images-tab - edit Lister Style, right file display, tagged date modified.

Oh, btw, what's the difference between Modified and (Modified) ?

TIA

Settings affecting the Right File Display aren't going to do much when the style is also set to Single display mode. There is no right file display then, only a left one.

I lost you, sorry.
You mean that I will then get a 3 window panel display: left tree, image right top and foldernames right bottom?
Any change in sort order at Images, is that adoped at the Explorer-tab?
Sorry, spent a few hours on trying figure this out myself before asking.
Could you pls get me a few extra clues?
However, is it possible at all??
Different sort orders per tab?

You aren't going to get that from the Images style shown in your screenshot. Near the top, it has File Display: Single, so you'll only have a single file display, not two.

What I just did is set the sort order date/reversed and then right clicked on the Images tab + update
Select Explorer tab, sort name, update tab.
Edit Style, deselect tab groups
Closed Opus/relaunched a few times, it seems to hold.
When I change from Explorer tab->Images, I see it changes the date sortorder (for a split second it is still in 'details-view') and then displays the thumbnails.

Try looking in the Left File Display tab. The other one will not have any effect in a style set to File Display: Single.

It is like this..

(Images tab style)

I have closed/relaunched Opus half a dozen of times, moving to other folders, switching between Explorer and Images tab and
it seems to hold, i.e the sort order in both tabs are set the way I'd like.
Don't know for how long, but right now, at least, it seems fine.
