Export to USB failed error 1392

Am trying to export to USB, selecting replacement, the rest pretty much default.
In the end DO reports that export failed 1392, something like file or folder is damaged and unreadable.

How to solve this?

later: when selecting the \DOPUS folder, I get a pop up "An error occurred reading folder: file or folder damaged.."
can't delete the folder: An error occurred deleting Dopus: folder not empty (145)

Assuming you have same settings as on workstation for USB reinstall might be easiest. Just delete DOPUS-folder and exe and export again. If you get errors again reformat the stick in FAT32, maybe filesys has been damaged (plugged out to early or something like that).

As said, regretfully I can't access the contents and I can't delete the folder. That was one of the first things I tried. Bad luck.

I'd try reformatting the stick.

indeed, this seems to be the final solution.
(as the stick is full with other stuff, I wanted to keep that as the last resort...)

also tried flwg:

whilst running elevated command prompt:

  • in dopus folder: dir . = no file found
  • del . in that folder: file or folder damaged/unreadable
  • in root: del dopus: same
  • in Explorer Dopus folder has a size of 0 bytes

and this (change ownership)
1.Right click folder
2.Select "properties"
3.Select the "security" tab
4.Click the 'Advanced" button
5.Select the "owner" tab
6.Click the "Edit" button
7.Under 'change owner to' highlight the user you wish to set as owner
8.Check the 'replace owner on subcontainers and objects' box
9.click the 'apply' button (this will take you back to the 'advanced security settings' window)

this results in a pop up window telling me that I am not authorized to read contents of \DOPUS folder
asking whether I want to change ownership, when clicking on "Yes" - I get another popup 'changing ownership'
or something, but after minutes, still nothing seems to happening.

hoped there wud be an easy solution... :frowning:
