Extract archives to current folder on double-click

Is it possible: double click on a rar or zip file -> auto extract in the same folder as the file?

Hello and thank you for the help!

Replace Go with

Copy EXTRACT=sub HERE WHENEXISTS=rename

Can be done globally for all archives via File Type Groups or individually via extension.

Keep in mind that .iso files are archives, too

To limit this command to .rar and .zip files, add it to these two extensions.

I would suggest to use a modifier along with it, like I've done for myself. Otherwise just opening an archive is only possible via right click menu.

I made myself keyboard shortcuts for that, then you have more flexibility.

Thx you very much for your help!

Do you know what I have to add to delete the archive file after the unzip (without error), please?

You could add Delete, but there's no error checking. This topic gets discussed here at length:

Too much effort, for my taste. I'd either do it manually or use WinRAR's built-in delete functionality.

Revealing what OPs workflow is, it's not a DO "issue", he would be better suited with a program called "ExtractNow" (www.extractnow.com).

Thx for all the answer! Extractnow works great!
