I see this [ Favorites open in a new tab 2023 ] and try change the event of ta trees to open favorites folders in a new tab:
you can see, after I set the tab trees go event with "GO newtab", then I click the favorites folder , the Dopus still jump to the folder in current tab ,not in a new tab.
This problem I see the posts from 2011 - 2023, and not find any ways to solve it truly, can anyone help me and other users to solve this problem once and for all, thx ~~
Works here just fine. Are you sure you applied the change?
The option you’re changing is for the Folder Tree. it says so at the top of the window.
You’re clicking the Favorites Bar, which has no connection to the Folder Tree.
If you want the Favorites Bar to open new tabs, edit the toolbar and add the NEWTAB argument to the command which displays all the favorites.
Or, usually better, do the same as you would in a web browser: Middle-click for a new tab and left-click to load into the current tab. Then you aren’t forced into always doing one or the other. That’s built-in and doesn’t require any configuration.
