Favourite folders on two different machines

Hello team, I am not much of a user of directory opus, except the free version. I have been asked by my boss to solve some damn issue for his home pc. He has two different PCs, a home one and a workspace one. both runs on same version of directory opus and both have different set of favourites saved.

Problem:
Whenever he wants to backup his setting and restore it on other opus using .ocb, he loses his collection of favourites and it gets replaced by the home pc favourites. He is cracking my back for this one. I tried to solve using forums and even AI tools, but didnt work out for me. If anyone have a suggestion, please drop it my to try, so that I can have some peace. Sorry for trouble.

Favorites are stored in C:\Users\<YourUser>\AppData\Roaming\GPSoftware\Directory Opus\\ConfigFiles\favorites.ofv.

It should work to manually backup (=copy) this file before importing the config from another computer, and then restoring the file by copying it back. It’s a good idea to fully exit DOpus before restoring the file.

There's no free version of Directory Opus.

If he wants you to solve issues with its Directory Opus, ask "your boss" to buy you a legit license

Sorry, trial version. I just opened account here today. I know there are illegal versions out there but I don't use them

Pardon me for the unclear explanation. I meant to say trial version. I used ■■■■■■■ and a friend to help me put it in words. Not my first language
