Favourites List - spacers and seperators

This might be difficult to implement, but can we please have SPACERS as an option for the drag & drop favourites list?

This list

The reason:
it is possible to put spacers in normal toolbar, like so

but not possible in Favourites list toolbar - seperators are the best solution atm (looks more cluttered and confusing)

  • putting in empty folder icons, does work, but then they have to have a name and mess up the favourites menu

not sure how you would implement spacers to work both in toolbars and menus, but doing so would help with the grouping.

Anyprogressonthisissue - thespacehas long been used to seprate things for legibility

If I remember correctly, I think you can currently create your own favorites bar with dynamic buttons via scripting. There you can implement all kinds of rules you consider appropriate, to insert spaces, separators, etc.

I was talking about the new drag & drop favourites list, which can be shown as a toolbar.
Making toolbars with spacers is no problem.

I was talking about that one too. You can't change it that way, but you can create your own toolbar that looks and behaves like the Favorites Bar. Since the position of separators/spacers is subjective, you can make it look however you want.

We've added that for the next beta.
