Subject: Feature request: Per-item customization for Favorites Bar entries
I am posting this as a feature request / suggestion.
Hello,
I would like to request a feature for the Favorites Bar.
Currently, Favorites Bar items appear to be generated dynamically from the Favorites command, so when Customize mode is enabled, the individual folder items and branches disappear and cannot be edited like normal toolbar buttons.
I would like to be able to customize each Favorites Bar item individually, including:
- Background color
- Text color
- Icon
- Folder and branch appearance
This would make the Favorites Bar much easier to use visually, especially when many frequently used folders and branches are registered.
At the moment, the workaround seems to be creating normal toolbar buttons manually, but that loses the convenience of managing everything through the Favorites List.
It would be very helpful if Favorites Bar entries could support per-item visual customization, or if the Favorites List had options for assigning icons and colors to each favorite or branch.
