no matter how many time I try I cannot get the DO to open my preferred image viewer program when I click on a file (.jpeg, .jpe). I go to settings >file types and find .jpeg and set the default. sometimes the default it changed by itself other times not, but in no case does it ever use the program I want, it uses its own default viewer
You probably need to turn off Preferences / File Operations / Double-click on Files / Use internal picture viewer.
