File Collections - can't delete all the folders

I'm trying to delete my "File collections" directory. Some delete all right by removing the files within them and then delete the filename. But some are a bit problematic. they get as far as the Reading Older, Abort, and lockup.

a subfolder the content menu gives me a delete option. But my fear is that deleting at this point would actually delete my files off my drive. When all I want to do is remove the files from the folder before I delete the folder name.

I'm also very worried about the files within the folders that lockup as I described in my first paragraph.

I hope there is a solution for this problem.

If you go to the File Collections folder itself, below which all the collections are listed, you should be able to select the collections there and delete them.

It shouls not require you to go inside any of the collections (so you should never see a "Reading Folder" message while doing this, nor a "Reading Older" message ).

As long as you are deleting a collection and not a file within a collection, the files should be left alone.

Thanks for the help. Not only did it resolve my issue, but it was extremely faster than the way I was going.
