"File" has disappeared

Hello:

I have just installed (and reinstalled) version 9.1.1.5.3222.x86, and in the basic menu, I have no "File".

I have

Edit View Go Favorites FTP Setting Tools Help

I ma not sure that "File" disappeared with this latest version, but probably so.

What could have happened?

Regards,

Hans L

You must have accidentally removed it while in Customize mode.

If you delete the ListerMenu toolbar and restart Opus then the default toolbar will be restored.

Thank you, Leo.

After having spent 15 minutes looking for a way of deleting the toolbar, I restored and old version of the settings, copied the File button, restored the latest settings, and pasted the File button.

Just for posterity, how do you delete a toolbar?

Regards,

Hans

Found it. Deleted. Restarted. No toolbar :frowning: I'll continue to experiment.

As Leo wrote, If you delete the ListerMenu toolbar and restart Opus then the default toolbar will be restored.
BUT: If the toolbar wasn't enabled, it is still NOT enabled. You have to click customize -> toolbars and enable the restored default toolbar.

Christiaan, that is what I thought, but I had to restart the computer before the ListerMenu toolbar came back!

Regards and thanks,

Sounds like you didn't exit and restart Opus, only closed its windows.

Yes, Leo, you are, of course, right. I keep forgetting that it is not "out of sight, out of [Windows'] mind". DOpus was still running as a process.
