For MATLAB code files (*.m), Directory Opus shows the dll as the file type. As you can see from the screenshot the file type looks to be set correctly. This is the only type of file that shows the dll instead of the file type descriptor. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks.
It's definitely odd that the two things aren't displaying the same string.
Which version of Opus are you seeing that with; 11.19, or something different?
Does File Explorer's Type column show the correct value?
Is the displayed path correct for that DLL, or is MatLab under C:\Program Files b[/b] instead?
Thanks for the quick response...
I'm using version 11.19 x64
File Explorer shows the type as 'MATLAB Code'
The DLL path is correct; this is a 64-bit program.
The executable file is at
C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2016b\bin\win64\MATLAB.exe
Thanks for the extra details.
Please run my File Type Diag tool (no installation required) on the file extension and attach the results.
We should be able to use those to reproduce the same situation here and work out what's going wrong.
Here you go...

Thanks for that, we'll have this fixed in the next update.
