'File types' option does not work for me

Hello,

I am using Directory Opus 'File Types' options to configure some commands under 'All files and folders' file type.

I want to run some commands when anybody double clicks on a file or a folder.

I have configured it as given on the following page: conceptworld.com/blog/index. ... h-recentx/

The problem is that the command works for 'Files' but the same command is not executed for 'Folders'. Double clicking on a file is proper. Double clicking on folder does not run the command.

Please help.

Am I missing something.

Gautam Jain

If you configure the shown command on the All Files and Folders filetype (as shown in their screenshot) then you will break double-clicks on files.

The command is fine for folders (i.e. the All Folders filetype) but it's unsuitable for files.

It is making double-clicks on files run the Go command which navigates to the folder containing the double-clicked file (i.e. usually does nothing since you'd already be in that folder). The file will not be launched.
