A few weeks ago, I noticed something odd with some of my folders. When I open these folders, the files show up before the folders. This seems to be affecting different folders each day. No matter how I sort them, it doesn’t change. I don’t remember changing any settings that might have caused this. How can I fix this? I want the folders to always show up first when I open these folders.
I compared the folder display settings from a folder that doesn't have this issue, but the settings are identical.
Bingo! Worked. But of course, I didn't change it; I didn't even know that was a thing. No idea how it gets set that way without my doing so. Maybe one of my scripts do it. I'll never know. At least I know how to change it back. Perhaps one day I'll make a script that sets it globally for all folders, in case some folders get changed again. Thanks!
