The filter bar remains in focus on tab switch, causing any subsequent FAYT (in a different tab) to be entered in the last focused filter bar field. This will NOT occur when you switch the tab and then click on the lister background or an item. This will occur when a filter bar is in focus in one tab (blinking caret) then switching to another and immediately trying to use any of the FAYT functions without clicking the lister background or an item.
Also one of the following options needs to be enabled...
Preferences / File Displays / FAYT and Filter Bar Options
Display Filter Bar:
- Always
- Whenever a filter is set
