Find as you type disable some hotkey?

I use Ctrl + P to add description for a folder by follow step.

1: type the name of the folder in the lister. ( Find bar appear )
2: Press Ctrl + P to add description ( Do not work)
3: After some seconds, Find bar disappear.
4: Press Ctrl + P to add description ( Now it work )

What I want is the step 2 work.
Any suggestion?

You can press Escape before step 2 to force the find field to close immediately.

It's a solution.
But can you consider solve this problem by make Ctrl + P(and other shortcut) work at step 2 in future version?

One problem is that we do not know which hotkeys matter to the edit control, and they can vary with different IMEs.

I guess hotkeys could have a flag saying they should work when an edit control is active, but that would require a lot of micromanagement when setting them up.

Can a way to disable FAYT be added like it was in previous versions - so it defaults to default Explorer behavior and shortcut keys can be used. Having to push Esc each time is bothersome - when usually what the user wants to do is type in first characters for the filename and then execute a program using a hotkey.
