Find filename in selected folders

Hi!

I'm working in a directory where a lot of folders are in. I sort these folders according to the creation/modification date and select some of them. I'd like to find a file "name" within these selected folders. Is there a function already implemented for this?

Hide the unselected folders, apply a filter. Or copy the selected folders to a collection and filter them there.

Edit: After reading bytespiller's reply I realized I probably misunderstood your question.

Also try to drag & drop the selected folders to the "Find in" list of the Find Panel (Ctrl+F) -- you'll need to remember to remove the main (current) folder from the "Find in" list (which is there by default) though.
