What determines whether Find Results are put into the "Find Results" collection, or a new collection ( i.e. "Find Results (2)", "Find Results (3)", etc.)?
Also are there any settings or commands to control the creation of these extra results collections?
If you run two Finds at the same time, their results will go to separate collections so they don't get in the way of each other.
You can turn that off using find_unique_collections in Prefs/Misc/Advanced, but it's usually best to keep it on.

If you're running it via a command, there's a collection argument. In the Find GUI you can just change the name.
