Find to behave as in win explorer?

I'm sorry if this has been asked and answered, I tried searching the forums but couldn't find anything.

I'm new to this so I probably have the names of stuff wrong here and there, but I like what I'm seeing so far and esp the integration of Everything.

I have some lengthy searches I do regularly and in explorer I manage to keep them in the history for easy access by deleting new entries. That option is sadly not possible in Opus as far as I can figure out, you can clear them all but not individual entries.
Tried filters but that doesn't work since I want to search subfolders and I don't want to use flatview.
Took a look at the Ctrl+F search but it's functionality is driving me crazy trying to figure it out, the FAQ doesn't really help me either.
Is it possible to make it behave like the smaller F3-search? No adding stuff to collections, moving focus in folder tree and update results with F5?
Any other way to save common searches?
Any way to delete individual entries in the F3 history?

Add a button, e.g.

Find QUERYENGINE=windows QUERY foo OR bar

or

CLI QUICKSEARCHENGINE=windows QUICKSEARCH foo OR bar

As well as @lxp 's suggestion you can also save search results as a stored query, which will appear as a folder in the tree. You can set them to be static or to refresh automatically whenever you go back to them.
