Something I always found annoying for years, not sure if this can be set in the settings if that when I split my tabs vertically or horizontally the focus stays on the original windows. Can this be changed that it the cursor will focus on the new tab automatically?
Preferences / File Displays / Options / Set new window to source when switching to dual file display
