Folder Icons and Folder Marker utility

As I'm a bit tired of the generic yellow folder icon in Windows and would find it useful to mark certain work folders differently, I'm trying a utility called Folder Marker. It enables changing colors and designs of individual folder icons. While it works in Windows Explorer as well as the Folder Tree pane in DOpus 11, the lister icons stubbornly remain yellow.

I wonder if anyone has experience with DOpus 11 and Folder Marker, or at the very least can help me figure out where the lister pane (showing subfolders) gets the yellow folder icon. A subfolder changed to blue (for example) by Folder Marker shows as blue in the Folder Tree pane, but yellow in the (dual horizontal) lister pane which is set to Details View.

Help is much appreciated.

Make sure Preferences / Folders / Folder Display / Show generic icons for is not turned on.

Note that Opus has a built-in way to change folder icon colours for specific folders: File and Folder Labels. (You can also change the icons via the folders' Properties dialog, if you want to do more than re-color a particular folder's icon or label.)

Thanks, Leo! That is a much better solution because it's already available in DO and more flexible because it has text formatting options as well.
Now to getting more icons...
