Folder Layout

[NotNull]

I read (or more accurately: scanned) the Folder Formats: Quick Guide and Folder Formats: Detailed Guide FAQ as well as the Folder Formats help text and something is still unclear to me.

I did define my own style (picture below) with the following folder formats (left/right pane are configured identically:

Only after manually changing the autosize="yes" entry to autosize="no", I get the desired layout (upper pane layout).
Otherwise I get the lower pane layout.
How/where do I change this in the GUI?

In the UI, the auto-size option is near the top of the Display tab when editing a Folder Format / Folder Options.

(We plan to move it to the Columns tab, since it fits with those settings better these days. Where it is at the moment made sense in the past but not as much now.)

It seems friendlier to add some options to another context menu in the column header, use the following hotkey method, from AutoHotkey:
~RButton & LButton
or
~LButton & RButton
Just a suggestion.

I think the options you are talking about are behind the More ... context menu entry.
Here you can set the appearance of the current folder and also make that the standard in various ways.
